At Ettomio, we strive to transparently value all the stages of your purchase, which is why you will find a shipping contribution for the products you choose.
The amount you pay does not correspond to the full shipping cost, but only a part of it. We take care of the majority of the cost. However, to ensure a more effective service, we cannot eliminate this fee.
SHIPPING
All orders placed on the ettomio.com website are shipped via national or international courier on weekdays (Monday to Friday). Shipping times depend on availability: you will be able to check the estimated delivery time for the products you choose at the time of your order:
2 to 15 days for "in-stock" products
2 to 10 weeks for "made to order" products

PACKAGING
Ettomio works with several selected artisans in Italy, and some orders may be managed with multiple shipments because the products are made and packaged directly by the artisan who creates them. We will try to optimize the shipments in our effort to minimize the environmental impact of goods movement. However, you may receive your ordered products in multiple deliveries.

DELIVERY
Standard shipping is considered at street level.
You have the option to activate the "delivery by appointment" service, which allows you to choose the day and time slot for delivery.
In some areas, we also offer "delivery by appointment and to your door" shipping.
You will be able to track your shipment and monitor its status thanks to the tracking number that will be sent to you by email.
The courier will deliver within 24 to 48 hours, so make sure someone is home to receive the order on the expected delivery date.
What happens if I’m not home?
We suggest choosing a delivery address where someone will be available to receive the package.
If delivery is missed due to your absence at the specified address, the courier will leave a notice with a number to contact them and arrange an alternative delivery date or address.
If the second delivery attempt also fails, or if the courier does not receive any instructions, the package will be held at the courier’s facility. If the package is held, you will need to pick it up from the courier's branch.
If you do not collect the package within 5 days, the purchase contract will be considered automatically terminated under Article 1456 of the Civil Code, and you will receive a refund. Note: The refund will be processed within 15 working days, and the total amount will be calculated after deducting delivery costs (for failed delivery), storage fees, return shipping costs to Ettomio, and any other expenses incurred due to the failed delivery.
What happens if a package arrives damaged?
If the package is damaged, you can refuse to accept it during delivery. If you discover the damage after receiving the product, please contact our customer service.
If the product is damaged, we will aim to resolve the issue as soon as possible and will keep you informed about the recovery and replacement process.
Can I return my order?
Yes, except for "custom-made" or personalized products, as provided by consumer law, without the need to provide a reason.
You have 14 days from receiving the product to inform us of the return.

Returns are not free, so the buyer will bear the return shipping costs.
The refund will be made within 14 days of receiving the returned item, after checking and verifying the product’s condition.
The refund includes the price of the purchased item and any shipping costs incurred for delivery (in the case of partial returns, a proportional share of the shipping costs will be calculated based on the total order).
FOR CUSTOMERS OUTSIDE THE EUROPEAN UNION
We want to inform you that we ship products made in Italy from within Italy. If the delivery address is outside the European Union, import taxes (custom duties) and VAT may be applied, which we cannot influence in any way. We are sure you are already aware of this, but we recommend you check this before placing an order if you live outside the European Union, or contact us for advice via email at info@ettomio.com.
