Handcrafted in Italy
The bed in the shape of a house really makes young and old fall in love.
Your children will love it because it will be their special refuge. You will love it because it is beautiful, comfortable and, inspired by the principles of Maria Montessori, designed for the safety and autonomy of the child who will be able to climb on and off easily, without any danger.
The aande house bed was born from the experience of a mother, Paola, who added key details that really make the difference: the roll-out slats allow you to clean under the bed and keep the mattress well ventilated, avoiding the formation of damp; the cotton roof is attached to the structure with 9 ties that make it convenient and "fixed" (it does not "fly away" the first time the child climbs onto the bed!); the side panels are at the "right height" because they protect but at the same time they are not dangerous for children who are born with the instinct of professional climbers :)
The bed can be combined with our futons or mattresses (see the futon and mattress 'ettomio) or with the mattress of your choice, of the same size (they are standard sizes and therefore easy to find anywhere; we suggest a mattress with a maximum thickness of 20cm).
Compared to the 'ettino model, aande does not include protective fences. We designed it for older children who want even more freedom of movement.

S 120x60:
it has the same measurements as the classic cot and is so cozy that it can easily replace the cradle and accommodate our little ones up to 4-5 years old. Then, it can be transformed into 'Ettone 120x200 (small double) ( Conversion kit). Or it can be simply raised with the under-bed drawer or feet forever remaining a perfect sofa in the bedroom!
M 140x70:
designed to be an intermediate size. The matching mattress, 140x70cm, can comfortably accommodate children up to 7-8 years old. Even M can become an Ettone thanks to the conversion kit, measuring 140x200 (standard double). Or it can be simply raised with the under-bed drawer or feet remaining forever a perfect sofa (or little guest bed) in the bedroom!
L 160x80:
the comfort of a bed that will last up to 10-11 years ... and can also (almost) comfortably accommodate an adult with them (!) is suitable for a mattress of 160x80cm. Its transformation into a raised bed, thanks to the under-bed drawer or feet makes it perfect as a bed to use until adolescence.
U 190x80:
the comfort of a bed that will last forever! The U bed (a single, or 190x80cm mattress) can be transformed in two phases: the first thanks to the addition of the under-bed drawer or feet to raise it off the floor; the second by replacing the house with the modern headboard/footboard. The U bed becomes a real life partner which evolves following the growth phases of your child.

Una buona scelta
Pacchi arrivati insieme, ottimo imballo, estrema facilità di montaggio, solido. Bello da vedere e rifinito veramente bene. Profuma di legno. Perfetto per la mia baby
Stabile come una montagna, magico come il castello sulla sua cim
È il lettino che avrei voluto avere da piccola (ma anche da grande), un mini universo di luce che entra soffusa dal cotone del tetto fatto di legno forte e liscio.
È grande abbastanza (M) da starci comodi con la bimba in caso di bisogno e la struttura è così resistente che la uso per alzarmi quando sono lato muro e devo sgusciare via come una ninja. Non oscilla, non cigola, non cede di un millimetro.
Tutte le finiture sono a regola d'arte e ci siamo meravigliati della bellezza di ogni singolo pezzo durante il montaggio, peraltro facilissimo e veloce.
Mi è capitato molto raramente di comprare un prodotto così bello, curato e oltre le aspettative e non avevo mai ricevuto un servizio clienti alla pari di quello di Ettomio. Paola mi ha permesso di personalizzare il lettino con una testiera extra e la spedizione è arrivata in Olanda in una settimana e mezza in pieno covid.
Lo consiglio tantissimo!

Letto veramente ben fatto, facilissimo da montare e curato in ogni dettaglio. La signora Paola molto disponibile e sempre pronta a rispondere ad ogni domanda anche dopo la vendita.
Bello e solido
Abbiamo scelto questo letto preferendolo ad altri perchè realizzato artigianalmente: e in effetti la solidità e la qualità delle finiture fanno la differenza. Il nostro Pietro ci dorme da quando aveva 2 anni.
All orders are shipped with international courier during working days (from Monday to Friday) according to this timing:
> 3-10 days for "standard" products
> 2-4 weeks for "made-to-order" products.
'ettomio works with several Italian handcraftmen and small artisanal firms. Some products are shipped directly from the artisan workshop and - if your order is composed by several products - you might expect more than one delivery. Do not worry if you don't receive everything at once.
It will be so enjoyable to open the parcel and breath freshly cut wood or natural fabric!
Transport fees vary according to total weight of the shipment and the destination.
Once the order is placed and we ship it, we will send you an email with the tracking number so you can check the shipping status.
Delivery takes usually 2-6 days for EU countries. Please note that we cannot influence anyway the organization of delivery as it is the courier responsibility but we will do our best for receiving the safest and quickest possible delivery for you parcel.
NB: we design packaging for being handy and not to heavy. But please remember that most of our products are shipped assembled or pre-assembled for your convenience, therefore, the package's size reflects this.

Our children deserve a safe and comfortable rest.
Why the futon? Because it is a mattress that perfectly interprets the philosophy of Maria Montessori: low and accessible, made with simple materials, comfortable and with a sober taste . Our futon is in ecological cotton, padded with firm cotton layers and lined with raw and untreated cotton, quilted and hand-sewn .
It is suitable for children because it is ergonomic, in fact it adapts to their body and is breathable and hypoallergenic. It is also thermoregulatory because it absorbs moisture, allowing the body to prespire and keeping it warm in winter and cool in summer.
Handcrafted product, handmade in Italy, the 'ettomio futon has been created to complement our beds but it adapts to any other type of bed.
Available in sizes: 120x60 cm, 140x70 cm, 160x80 cm, 190x80 cm. If these sizes do not suit you, contact us and we will custom make one for you.

Our natural mattress is recommended by the Italian Association of Physiotherapy (AIFI).
The internal layer is made from vegetable oil which is a renewable resource.
The mattress has been designed to be healthy and breathable: thanks to the internal open cell foam, breathability is guaranteed.
The 'righette' mattress allows you to create the ideal microclimate for a regenerating rest: no damp is formed and the air that passes through the pores drives away mites and bacteria.
The outer lining is made of heavy weight fabric so it supports more weight and gives additional comfort.
It is designed for children, in fact it is ergonomic and adapts to their body. It is resilient and gradually returns the weight received, so it is also very comfortable for us adults when we fall asleep next to them. :-)
When children grow they say they are "big"!
For them it also means changing and transforming their spaces: this is why the floor bed, perfect for the little ones, is transformed into a “grown-up” bed thanks to the under-bed drawer that raises it off the ground.
The house structure remains to make the bed the ideal refuge, the place of dreams, imagination and inventions.
Our advice? The drawer is best added to the bed when your child is between 3 and 5 years old.
The under-bed drawer is compatible with all beds:('ettino, 'aande) and even 'ettone.
The structure of the under-bed drawer is attached to the base of the bed, raising it by 17 cm (total height from the ground to the base of the mattress: 20 cm).
And if the under-bed drawer could become a second bed? We have thought of this too :) The under-bed drawer height, 12,5cm, is perfect for our futon "michetto"! Alternatively, if you would prefer to put a mattress, we can make the drawer 3-4 cm higher to allow enough space. (In this case the mattress needs to be custom-made and we can do this for our or Righette or Ondine mattresses)
Like all 'Ettomio products, the under-bed drawer is handcrafted by our carpenters and has a waiting time of 2-4 weeks ... but we are always willing to try accommodate your needs (contact us for any specific needs!)

Aande è un super-letto!
Inizialmente ero in dubbio se optare per ettino o aande e ho chiesto consiglio a Paola che è stata gentilissima e mi ha dato indicazioni molto utili. Quando è arrivato il corriere ( ci ha messo qualche settimana perché viviamo a Londra ) sono rimasta piacevolmente sorpresa dalla facilità di montaggio e dalla consistenza del prodotto. Il made in Italy vince sempre! L’entusiasmo del mio piccolo Tommy ha fatto il resto, adora passare del tempo sul suo aande, legge, gioca, schiaccia pisolini e fa dormitone notturne senza interruzioni. Per la serie “Bye bye lettone di mamma e papà, io ho il mio Aande ed è bellissimo”!
